All staff are Trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol. No misconduct will be tolerated as the event is held on a licensed premise therefore Management asks that all minors are accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Local Police will be patrolling the event throughout the weekend and ask that we all behave and have a great time.
The inaugural Outback Oktoberfest was held in Jundah in 2010 and is shaping up to bigger and better in 2012. Held in conjunction with the annual races, the weekend promises to be an experience not to be missed.
Traditional dress & food, combined with steins, schnapps and Erdinger Bier (Specially imported from Germany), add to the atmosphere. Beer wenches will ensure the visitor is not overcome with thirst!
There will be entertainment galore throughout the weekend including live music with a German theme obviously, musical games with dances such as the Chicken dance and Limbo, street stalls & a Billy Cart Dash that everyone can be a part of.
Enjoy a social outing catching up with old friends or making new acquaintances.
So roll your swag, hitch up the caravan and head out west, there's fun for young and old. Camping is allowed along the Thomson River. Powered sites are available at the Jundah Caravan Park and Jundah Hotel along with room accommodation. This is one party you shouldn't miss!

Sheep race down the main street of Jundah as part of the event; all in the name of German King Ludwig who lived 200 years ago!
The whole family is welcome! Entry is $50.00 per team (two persons) for participants per category. Any profit from this event will be donated to Angel Flight.
